Pantry Maintenance
Here you can manage the pantries that are able to order from the warehouse. The most involved operation from this screen is user maintenance for pantries that do not have a Unicentric system, and so can't use our own user validation.
Pantry List
On the Pantry Maintenance screen you will see a list of the pantry profiles active within the warehouse. New pantries can be added using the Add Pantry button at the top-right of the grid or existing profiles can be viewed using the "open" button on the right of the corresponding row.
Pantry Profile
Here the pantry profile can be set up. Here is a breakdown of what the fields are used for
Pantry Name - Name of the pantry this is what appears on the allocation list and what will appear when the pantry places orders to the warehouse
Is Active - Sets if the pantry is considered active or not. An inactive pantry will not be able to place further orders against the warehouse.
Unicentric Organization Name - If the pantry also has a Unicentric system, the user can add the Unicentric orgname (used by their members to log in to Unicentric) to this field and the users from their system will be validated automatically while logged into their Unicentric system. If this field is filled, you do not have to manage users (details in the next section)
Borough - The borough of the pantry
Normal Delivery Day - The expected frequency of times the pantry orders against the warehouse. The system uses this to try to guess the order dates, but this is flexible on an order-by-order basis.
Phone - Phone number that can be used to reach the pantry
Address - Street address of the pantry
Notifify Of Order Acceptance - The email address that will receive order confirmations from the warehouse. A comma-separated list can be used if more than one email address is needed (e.g. "[email protected], [email protected], ...")
Email Invoice To - The email address that will receive invoices from the warehouse. Like the Order of Acceptance emails, this can be more than one address in a comma-separated list.
Managing Users
If a pantry does NOT have a Unicentric system, users can be added to order on behalf of the pantry here. The users listed can be re-invited by clicking the invite next to their respective email, which will send a password reset link.
To add a new user to the pantry, click the "Send Invite" link to open the invite dialog.
On the resulting dialog, simply enter the soon-to-be user's email address into the text area and click Send. Their email address will be added to the list and they will receive an email to set their password and have a link to the site.
