Creating a New User with Cloned Permissions
Creating a user with permissions cloned from another user will make it easier to manage the permissions of a new user.
Click New User
Navigate to the User Maintenance tool and click the blue Add New User button. You will be presented with a pop up that asks if you would like to clone the existing permissions of one user onto the new user. Click Yes.
Select User to Clone
After opting to clone the permissions of another user, the Add/Edit User menu will open as depicted below. Select the user who's permissions you would like to copy, and the rest of the user's add/edit screen will appear.
Complete the User Creation Process
Fill in the rest of the user's information and click the blue Save User button on the bottom right-hand corner of the Add/Edit User window. Remember to save the user's Login Name and Password to give to the user, they will need these credentials to log in to legalxpert.
We also recommend checking the "Must change on next login" box and the "Reset Security Questions" box, which will require that the user set their own password and security questions the first time they login.
