Making a User Inactive

Users are never fully removed from the system, in case their user profile is needed for anything, for example, determining if and when they created or modified certain aspects of the system. When a user profile will no longer be needed, they are instead marked as an Inactive User. Inactive users will not appear in any part of the system that lists users, and they will no longer be able to log in to legalxpert.

Make User Inactive

Navigate to the user's Add/Edit Screen in User Maintenance and uncheck the "Is Active" box, then click the blue Save User button. The user will be sent to the bottom of the list of users in user maintenance in the inactive section.
