Release v2.4.6
- With the October 2021 update, we have added the ability to duplicate a food item within the system. Now, after loading an existing food item, a “Duplicate Item” button will appear which will clone the setup of the item to be duplicated to a new food item.
After clicking “Duplicate Item”, the new item will retain all properties of the previous item outside of the “Barcode” and Food Item Name (and the associated name translations). The Food item name of the duplicated item will be pre-appended with the word “copy_” to indicate that the item was duplicated. This should be changed by the user performing the duplication action to be the actual name of the item. This feature was added to help accelerate the process of creating templated packages where the package contents of a new package are nearly identical to the contents of an existing package with some minor changes.
- Updated “Pantry Messages” names to correct various spelling errors. Please note that the actual content of the messages was not changed.
- “Proceed” will no longer show on the member order screen when the member is not required to select a pick up date or time.
- We have made an adjustment to how an “Each” UOM is added to a food item which should help prevent issues where an “Each” UOM is not added automatically.
- We have corrected some issues that would cause items to not show on the menu when a member is placing an order.
- For warehouses, we have implemented a fix for items that are not showing in the “Allocation” page as available when they are present in inventory adjustment.
- The option to "Change Designation" can now only be accessed from the "Warehouse" module and not the "Pantry Warehouse" module as it was designed for pantries that provide inventory to other warehouses, not for internal pantry warehouse operations (in which case, you may want to consider using Warehouse Locations instead to segment inventory).
