Creating Contacts

Select "Contact" from the New menu

Select "Contact" from the New menu

In the upper right hand corner of the screen, select "Contact" from the drop down menu labeled "New." This will take you to the Add New Contact screen.

Preliminary Contact Search
  1. On the Add New Contact screen, enter the name and company (if applicable) of the contact that you would like to add. Then click the Search Contacts button. In Unicentric, unless the user has special permissions, you must do a search before adding the contact in order to ensure that no duplicate contacts are created.
  2. After the search is completed, double check the returned results (if there are any) to be certain that the contact you are adding is not already in the system. If it is, click on the returned result to go to that contact's Contact Screen.
  3. If the results do not contain the contact that you are trying to create, click the Create Contact button to create the contact. You will then be taken to the Contact Screen.
