How do I restore a deleted contact?

If a contact is accidentally deleted, it can be restored using the Admin Contact View. You will need permissions to the tool in order to access it, and it can only be accessed in Classic view.

If you are not using the Dashboard version of the system, you can skip this step. Otherwise, switch to Classic view by clicking the settings wheel on the top right corner of the dashboard screen, then clicking the switch to classic button depicted above.

Locate the Deleted Contact

Navigate to the Admin Contact View, locate the desired contact, and select them for the contact to be displayd in the work area using the following steps:

  1.    Click on the Tools tab
  2.    Select Admin Contact View from the list of Tools
  3.    Search for the desired contact's name
  4.    Click select next to the contact's name

 

Restore the Contact

  1.    Click the button "Mark as Undeleted"
  2.    Click the button "Add to WhitePages"
  3.    Click on the Save button on the right side of the work area.

The contact will now be accessible in the system again.
