Messages

All of the messages that appear on this management screen are specific in where they appear in the system. This means that adding a new Message will not cause it to appear, so this screen is for translating existing messages only. If you would like a new message to appear, contact Unicentric and we will discuss creating a custom message.

You should ensure you have all your desired languages set first so that you won't have to come back later and translate the message(s) for new languages.

When a new system is initially configured, one message you may need to change ends with "Pantry Order Entry" and may be preceded with "[Pantry Name]".

The Messages section is where you should go to add translations for the messages that appear when a pantry member is ordering from your pantry. All messages should be translated for all supported languages.

Translating Messages

To translate a message, open the Edit Message dialog by clicking the button on the right column of the message you are translating

On the Edit Message dialog, click the Translate button to automatically translate the message into the supported languages. If you would like to translate a message manually, check the "Translate Manually" checkbox next to the corresponding language and enter the message. After all changes are completed, click Save

If a language your organization supports is not included on the list of languages here, it can be added using Language Maintenance
