Pantry Visitors

Pantry visitors is used to check members out and indicate that their orders have been received. It has three different modes which are determined by hidden settings, but they all work in a similar way. This guide will include screen shots of the two step mode.

One step mode only includes the Checked Out status while three step mode adds an additional status before Checked In called In Queue

Note that Pantry Visit will only check-in members who have an order with a pickup date of "today".

Note that some pantries are enabled to have multiple sites within their systems. If this is the case, when the "Pantry Visitors" page loads you have the option to either view and check in members associated with either a specific site by selecting a site within the site drop down in the upper right hand corner of the screen shot below or by viewing and checking in members associated with all sites by selecting the "All" option within the same drop down.

Above is an example of the two step  visitors screen. While on the Checked In tab, the user can scan a visitor's id card or type in their card id and click process to add them to the tool as Checked In status.

From there, the user can move single members to the next status (Checked Out) by scanning their card, or clicking the Image button to bring up that member's information and clicking the "Check Out" button. Alternatively, many members can be checked out at once by checking their boxes and clicking Check Out at the top right of the grid

Conversely, the user can also undo a checkout, which will also undo the delivery of their order, placing it back in the Manage Order screen of the Pantry Maintenance tool.

A single member can be rolled back by clicking the Image button that brings up the member's information and clicking the "Remove from Check In" button. Like with moving a member forward in the process, multiple members can be moved back by checking them and clicking the Remove Checked button at the top right.
