Enter your credentials
Organization Name
In this field enter the name that was provided to you by your system administrator. Usually this is the first part of the URL you used to get to this page.
For example, if you entered org.unicentric.com, the value that goes into this field is org
If you are unsure of the organization name, you can try clicking the question mark next to the label (ver. 3.1). If your organization has it set up, you will be presented with a dialog.
Enter in the required name, and click Get Instructions. What you will see is text entered by your system administrator with additional information.
User Name
Enter in the username that was provided to you by your system administrator
Password
If this is your first time logging into the system, enter the password you were provided. Else, enter the password that you created.
Note: passwords are case sensitive, they must be entered exactly as you typed when the password was set.
When you have filled in Organization, User, and Password, click the Login button.
If the credentials are correct, you will be logged into Unicentric.
If they are incorrect you will see a warning.
Entering in too many incorrect passwords will temporary lock your account.
Forgot Password
If you forgot your password, and you are set up in the system with a phone number or external email, you can click the Forgot Password link.
Enter in your organization name, and your username. Click the Next button.
The next screen will allow you to choose how you receive the recovery code. Select the choice, and follow any instructions on the screen.
After clicking Send Recovery Code, wait for the number to show up (SMS, Call, Email). This normally will take less than 1 minute.
Enter the code from the SMS / Call / Email into the textbox, and click Verify Code
If the information is correct, you will be able to change your password.
Security Questions / Warnings
If your organization has turned it on (ver 3.1), logging into the system may present you with security questions.
Select 3 question, and type in an answer for each. Check "Remember this Computer" if this is the machine you normally log in on. This will prevent you from seeing the questions from logging into this computer.
Click continue when finished.
Logging in from another computer
You will see the above screen if these criteria are met
- Your organization has the additional security feature enabled (ver.3.1)
- You have set up the questions/answers initially
- You are logging in from a computer that has a different IP address than you logged into before
You will see one of your 3 questions. Type in the answer, and click Continue.
If you type in the answer incorrectly, you will see the first error message.
Entering the questions incorrectly 3 times, and you will lock your account out. It can only be unlocked by your system administrator.
Disabled Account
In version 3.2, if your account is incorrectly logged into X times in a row, your user account will be disabled from logging into the system. The number of times is set by the system administrator for your organization. The default value is 6. You will need to contact that user to re-enable your account.
