Connect IMAP widget to GMail
Create an app password in GMail
You cannot use your main password to connect to GMail over IMAP. An app password will need to be created first.
Log into your GMail account, and go to your account.
Next click on the Security option in the menu.
Scroll down to the Signing in to Google section, and click on App Passwords
Under Select device, choose Other (Custom name) . This will allow you to name the password in case you have others
Enter a name for this password, and click the generate button.
You will see a dialog that contains the generated password. Save this as you will not be able to see it after you close.
Configure IMAP widget in Unicentric
Now that you have an app password, go into Unicentric, and configure the IMAP widget.
Enter in the information for Gmail

Account Password | The app password you generated above |
When the information is entered, Click the test button. When editing the settings, you will need to test before saving.
If all the settings are correct, you will see a success message
You can then save the settings
The IMAP widget should now be connected to GMail.
