Associating Clients/Adding Services

This article explains how to associate contacts to a calendar item.

Open or create a calendar item.

Select the services tab.

Select the services tab.

Select either "Add New Service" or "Add from Group".

Click this button to add a new row into the services grid. Type part of the contacts name, and click the search button.

All contacts matching what you searched for will be listed. Select the contact you want to associate to this calendar item by clicking on the name.

Once the contact is associated, you can change the activity / cost center codes by clicking into the fields. Note: You only have to do this if you are selecting different code then what is on the main appointment. If you leave these values untouched, the codes selected on the main appointment will be used when this item is sent to billing. The same goes for the Minutes column. You only need to adjust that if the duration is under the duration of the appointment. An example of this would be a group appointment that has multiple contacts associated, and a few contacts had to leave early.

Add from Group will open a dialog where you can select from your private groups, and public groups you have permission to.

First select the group, then click the search button

All contacts in that group will be displayed in the results. Check off the contacts you want to associate, and click the Used Selected button.

Change codes or time if you need to, and click the save button to save your changes.
