The company maintenance page allows you to change some values associated to your company. (ver.3.1)

Access

You will need Company Maintenance permission in order to see it under the dashboard menu.

Basic Information

Basic Information

Login Organization Name (ReadOnly) - The value that users will use as the organization name at the login screen

Organization Name - The name of your org. This value can be used on reports.

Address - Main address for your organization.

Country - The country of your organization. This could be different than the address above.

State - The state of your organization.

Phone Number - The main number for your organization

NPI - If your company has an NPI number, enter it here. If not enter 0.

Company Tax Id - (optional) Enter the tax id for your organization. These values are used for setting up billing features.

Start of Week

Start of Week

When a user creates a new timesheet for This Week / Last Week, the Start of Week is used to calculate the day it begins.

Time Zone

The integer value entered into this field is used for displaying times (calendar,folder) to the user.

Domain Name

Domain Name

The domain name is used on the login page for users clicking the help on the organization field. This should contain your primary domain. When they enter the correct name, they will see the text from the Help Instructions field.

POC Email Address

This is an email address for a point of contact to receive emails dealing with security features. (invalid logins, locked accounts, etc)

With the domain setting above, this is the text that users will see when they enter the domain.

Enable Security Challenge

This is a new feature as of 3.1. Enabling this will turn on additional security for users in regards to their accounts.

When users first log into the site, they will be presented with some security questions that they will need to fill in.

Anytime they log into Unicentric from a different IP Address that is not recognized by the system, they will be presented with one of the 3 questions

If they get the question wrong, they will see a warning message

If they get the answer wrong 3 times, their account will be locked out. To unlock the account, you will need to change the user account back to "active". That can be done under User Maintenance.

Security Feature is a new feature as of the 3.1 code.

Session Timeout and Password Expiration

Password Age

Sets the number of days a user can have a password before changing it. Frequent password changes increase security so that a password and username combo is never valid indefinitely. Keep in mind that the "Password does not expire" setting applied on a user-by-user basis in User Maintenance will override this setting. The number of days entered is the number of days after a password is set before it must be changed.

Expire Notification

Unicentric will alert a user when their password is about to expire. This setting allows you to set how far ahead of time Unicentric will start alerting the user, in the example above, users will begin receiving alerts of an expiring password 7 days before the password expires.

Logout Time

If a user is inactive for a certain period of time, they will eventually be logged out. This is to prevent security issues that could arise from a user leaving their browser open and logged in. After a certain number of minutes of not doing anything, they will be logged out and have to present their password again before they can continue working within Unicentric. In the example above, a user will be logged out if they are inactive for 60 minutes.

The user accounts section has been added in v3.2.

Max failed attempts - The number of failure attempts before the account becomes disabled from logging into the system. The default is 6 attempts, and cannot be less than 3.

Auto reset minutes - When an account is disabled it can re-enable automatically. Enter the time in minutes here. Default is 30. When an account is disabled, you can re-enable under user maintenance.
