Posting A Batch

This article details the steps needed to post a batch.  Posting a batch will cause any items in the batch to have accounting entries created.

Open the Third Party Billing screen.

Open the Third Party Billing screen.

From the dashboard menu, select Billing, then click the Third Party Billing tab.

If you do not see the Billing item in the menu, you will need to have the permission granted. Please contact the person at your organization that is in charge with User Maintenance to give you this permission.

Select a company for which a batch needs posted.

Using the filter button, you can filter down to a particular batch.

Select "Post" from the Select Action dropdown list.

Added in ver3.4, If your organization is enabled for it, you can mark a batch to post from the Select Action dropdown list.

Batches that are marked will post out-of-process during off hours. This feature is good for large batches that contain many items, or if you need to post many batches.
