The email widget will allow you to see emails sent to you in the Unicentric system.

Display Name - The title of the widget as shown on the dashboard

Maximum Records - How many records should show per page.

1. New Email - Clicking this will open a dialog pop-up to allow you to create a new email message

2. Refresh - The widget is designed to refresh automatically. Clicking this button will cause the grid to reload.

3. Folder dropdown - Using this dropdown will switch the email folder you are looking at

4. Action dropdown - perform actions on selected emails using this dropdown

Clicking the new mail button will open the dialog above. Simply fill out the fields, and click the Send button to send a mail message.

Click on the heading to type in the subject of the email.

Type in the address that the email is going to. If you are adding multiple recipients, separate by a comma. If the contact is in your contact list, you can select from the dropdown that will appear when you start typing the name. Alternatively, you can click the button to the right of the textbox to search for an email.

You will be able to search all public groups plus your private groups for email addresses. When the email(s) are found, check the name(s) and click the To, CC, or Bcc buttons. After all emails are added, click the Use Selected button.

Click on CC/BCC to expose the Carbon Copy and Blind Carbon Copy fields.

Type in the body of the email into the WYSIWYG editor.

Click the attach button to add attachments to the email message.

Click the radio button next to the priority of the message

Discard - Closes the email message you are working on, nothing is saved.

Print - Prints the email message

Save Local - Will save the current email as an HTML page

Save Draft - will save the current email into your drafts folder

Send - will send the email to the recipients used in the To, CC, Bcc fields

You will notice that the email address show as stylized elements (v3.4). This is to lessen the amount of space the emails could potentially take up, and allow you to quickly see if anyone else in your organization was included.

The orange background names are users that are in your organization. Hovering over their name will show you the full email address.

The emails with the grey background are emails outside your organization.
